Easy way to get link from WikiAnswers

Welcome, Visitor. Subscribe to our RSS Feed and consider adding this article/site to your favorite social bookmark site if you find it useful. Thank you!

Today i am going to show an easy way to get link from WikiAnswers. Thisadd-related-links website is based on question and answers. It shows up on Google for tons of searches and this website is PR 7 website. But don’t spam this site. You can get your own link on WikiAnswers without answering a post. Search for questions related to your post and add related link to the website. Its easy.. So get your Pr 7 link easily. Follow this steps to add your link to the website:

  1. You need to create an account on WikiAnswers.
  2. Then login to your account. Now search for your keyword related to your topics. Open the question related to your question.
  3. After opening the question, look for left sidebar. There is a link that says Add Related Links. Take a look at the attached picture. Then click on Add Related Links.
  4. Type your post Title and URL/ Address on the box. Then click on Add Link Button at the bottom.
  5. Another thing if you find it’s not allowing you to click the Add Link button just add a couple of letters or backspace and change the letters and then once the Add Link button is active again put in your real link.

One of the biggest problem of this site is,this site doesn’t have the traffic like yahoo answers. But it’s easier and faster to get a link back to your site and you can use any anchor text you want. A lot of your links will never get traffic, but the one’s that do will keep your site busy. So f you need some quick link you can contribute to WikiAnswers and can get some link pointing to your web page. Have fun..

How come the links i add are “no followed” while some of the other added links are do-follow? Is there some trick to this that im missing?

      I checked the process again… i had no problem to add a do-follow link…

can u show the link where? maybe it has something to do with how long a site has been around or its pagerank…

Yeah, im pretty sure it has to do with the age of the domain. My police site is less than 3 months old and it gets no-followed links, while another site that is 3+ years old gets followed links. Thats kinda lame 🙁

O.. i see i didn’t know about that. Thanks for the information. Most of my domains are 2+ years.

Not sure about the domain age issue. Seen a few 14 month old sites have do follow links. I’ll keep looking and trying to figure this out.

That’s a cool trick for getting link from wikianswers. Thanks for sharing.

It is surprising to see that wikianswers moderator is reading and commenting on this post 🙂

Thanks for this tip. I added about five links each to one sub domain. Somewhere i read that you should only post five backlinks a day (not necessarily wiki)or else google will penalize you.

I came back to say i thought w.i.k.i-a.n.s.w.e.r.s was cool site but after adding about ten of my links they deleted it. ok so some were spammed but they had other conversations where they were spammed. What I mean when I say spammed is that you are not allowed to place links in the content. But what digs me the most is that i did leave some improvements to the answers and even deleteted a few of the rubbish that did not have any relevance at all. And do you know what the supervisor did? He put them right back. The rubbish. Now how do you figure?

i posted some links for my friend … it there.. i am not sure why the editor took the steps to rollback.

Thanks for the reply Jim. Maybe I posted too many in one day and considering that I newly opened an account with them and posted links the same moment must have annoyed them. Also maybe they deleted my links because it was too many and all the links were one author? kind of self-serving? Well i did contact them after they sent me a warning…and this is their response. nothing about why they deleted all the links both good and bad. And most of my links were placed in the related links section! THERE GOES MY STORY..

        “Hi there:

Your message was sent to us for handling. We have reviewed your history of contributions and while some links are indeed okay, other links are not actually addressing the questions being asked. For more information on Related Links, please visit: http://wiki.answers.com/help/related_links.

Hello there! Do you know if they make any plugins to help with Search Engine Optimization?
I’m trying to get my blog to rank for some targeted keywords but I’m not seeing
very good gains. If you know of any please share. Appreciate it!
