May be you are thinking why you have to protect your online products from Search engine. Before i heard about search engine tricks. Today i found something something interesting about search engine results.
I was searching a freeware soft for pdf writing and accidentally got a Cached page link. After browsing that page got a shocking result. It took me to an order page where it showed download link for that product. Can you belive that?

It can make your Business Down
Search engine bot can Cache your Product link page. Visitor can get access to Unprotected product page if your page from search engine.Soon you will find that lots of shared copy of your floating around.So what happened? Think about that.

Disable system beeps

Here is the steps to disable system beeps.

1. Start Regedit.
2. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Sound
3. Once there, locate Beep on the list on the right.
4. Right click on it and select Modify
5. Change the value equal to no
6. Reboot your computer and the beeps will be gone!


Memory Tweak

These Settings will fine tune your systems memory
management -at least 256MB of ram recommended

go to start runregedit -and then to the following key

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control/Session Manager/Memory Management

1.DisablePagingExecutive -double click it and in the decimal put a 1 – this allows XP to keep data in memory now instead of paging sections of ram to harddrive yeilds faster performance.

2.LargeSystemCache- double click it and change the decimal to 1 -this allows XP Kernal to Run in memory improves system performance alot

3.create a new dword and name it IOPageLockLimit – double click it and set the value in hex – 4000, if you have 128MB of ram, or set it to 10000 if you have 256MB,…. or it to 40000 if you have more than 512MB of ram -this tweak will speed up your disckcache

Reboot and You Are done
