it works very well on htc diamond 2. just download NOdata.cab (NOGPRS.cab) and install to your smart phone. after installation, start the application and disable internet and wap gprs will do. just make sure you disable your data connection in the data connection setting to make it effective.

I had a quick question. Basically, I want to upgrade my 8125
to an HTC Pure. I don't want any Data beyond MMS and SMS
messaging. I don't stream videos or use the internet, so I
don't need these features. Will these methods still allow
me to receive messages while killing the "always on" internet
features?

I've tried NoData on my Omnia 2 and it works wonderful. It does what it supposed to do. Better than any registry tweaks. Whereby I can disable/enable whenever i want.

Hi Jim,
Yeah, I was able to disable my gprs.. problem is, i still can't stream youtube videos. With gprs disabled, a message pops up saying "Cannot connect with current settings. To change your connection settings tap settings" I don't know what settings i still have to change coz i've already connected to wifi and can surf/browse fine.
