www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/el-gr/help/synchronize/make-connections.mspx
Delete a mobile (GPRS) connection

Deleting a connection removes its functionality, such as connecting to the Internet with GPRS. In most cases, your mobile (GPRS) connection has been configured by your mobile service provider. It is not recommended that you delete a mobile (GPRS) connection.
1) Tap Start > Settings > Connections tab > Connections.
2) Under My ISP or My Work Network, tap Manage existing connections.
3) Tap and hold the GPRS connection until you see a menu and then tap Delete.

The reg tweak option is just too easy and works great. Took me 30 seconds.

BTW, heed the advice and back-up the key. You might need it later.

Thanks Jim

it works very well on htc diamond 2. just download NOdata.cab (NOGPRS.cab) and install to your smart phone. after installation, start the application and disable internet and wap gprs will do. just make sure you disable your data connection in the data connection setting to make it effective.
