Recently  i found some tricks and tools to unlock  samsung Omnia i780 and i900. Thanks to _TB_TB_ on Xda developers for sharing the Unlocking tools and tricks for samsung Omnia. This Unlock tool works on i780 and Omnia. Here are the methods for unlocking Samsung Omnia :

 

Using Tools:

1. At first download the Unlocking tool from this Link

2. Then extract the zip file and copy all three .lnk files to your Pocket pc.

3. Now browse the directory on your pocket pc and run Lock.lnk .

4. Now you have to find the MCC/MNC from this list wiki Link Mobile Network Code. Enter valid MCC/MNC of your carrier. He used his “real” SIMLock carrier ID 26001 for Poland, Plus.

5. As NCK, enter 12345678 . Tap OK and it should tell that SIMLock enabled.

6. Then run Status.lnk to see if its locked. And run Unlock.lnk

7. Now enter code entered in step 5 (12345678)

Now you unlocked your Omnia. So have fun with this little tool.

Alternative method, works on i780 : There is an alternative method to unlock samsung i780. Here are the steps :

1. Type the following code in the Phone app: *7465625*638*# .

2. Now you have to find the MCC/MNC from this list wiki Link Mobile Network Code. Enter valid MCC/MNC of your carrier. He used his “real” SIMLock carrier ID 26001 for Poland, Plus.

3. As NCK, enter 12345678 . Tap OK and it should tell that SIMLock enabled.

4. Type the following code in the Phone app: *#7465625#. And type the following code in the Phone app: #7465625*638*#

5. Now enter code entered in step 5 (12345678)

    I have followed your instructions but, after enter MCC/MNC code (21401), NCK (12345678) and tap OK it appears the message
    Network Lock
    Fail to Set Locking Status

    Please, what I am doing incorrectly?

    1. I saw this problem on Vodafone Spain..(while searching for solution). But got no solution yet. I unlocked my omnia using this method.. i had no problem.

    1. I have a samsung omnia i900 locked with orange Ihave a vodafone sim do I have to put an extra digit when doing step 4?? as I have read on other sites this is what is needed

  2. It works on a Omnia, just tried today. As expected, many Samsungs fall into this hard-reset + provider lock trick.

  3. I have a Omnia that I would like to unlock but when I downloaded the Omnia Unclok Tool after unzipping it, it was only shortcuts?????

    Is it suppose to be that??? the size of it is only 1kb …

    1. HI Ovan. Great on you. I live in Sydney, “3” has been bought up by Vodafone, six (6) months ago, do you think i will be able to unlock my i900 Omnia, now? Did you entered 50506_, or 50512_, or 50515_, and what should it be the under score value?
      it should be between 0 up to 9. Thank you very much for your help.

      I have the same problem as Robin. I received a message that the network lock is disabled but when i trie to make a call, it says CALLING DENIED.

      Does anyone knows how to solve this?

      I live in Sydney. “3” or “three” was bought up by Vodafone since October 2010. What was the first 5 digits that you used, please? 50506?? or 50512?? or 50515?? What is the sixth digit you used? it is between 0 up to 9.

  7. Heya guys. Quick tip –
    I got the failed to set status thing, and I realised my Omnia had the “phone” turned off. Try turning on your “phone” thing, and if that doesn’t work, try taking out the sim card and doing the same thing.

  8. Hi! I am with Cell C, and have a contract sim card. I have a secondhand Samsung I900, and I want to make sure if it is not locked to CEll C, because my GPRS and MMS settings are not working on the phone. Do i need to unlock my phone, or do I need to make a sim swop?

  9. ok i recently found a samsung omnia i900 and it has a security code that like kids would use to keep parents from snooping how would i hack my way past it
