CLEAR TYPE Fonts IN WINDOWS XP

Clear Type is a technology that Microsoft introduced in Windows XP to make the fonts a little clearer.It enhances the clarity in LCD monitors.Here is a way to enable it :

1.Click start menu and select run.

2.In the run command type regedit and click OK to goto registry editor.

3.Navigate to HKEY_USERS/DEFAULT/Control Panel/Desktop.

4.Check on the right side is there any string called FontSmoothing.

5.if not, create it by right clicking and then selecting new STRING VALUE.

6.Right click NEW VALUE and rename it as FontSmoothing(F and S in capital letter).

7.Now double click the FontSmoothing and set the value to 2.

8.Reboot windows xp and enjoy the clear type clarity.
